How the FFL Transfer Process Works

1. Select Your Firearm:

   First, find the firearm you wish to purchase from an online retailer, auction, or another FFL dealer. Once you’ve made your selection, proceed with your purchase.

2. Provide the Seller with Our FFL Information:

   After completing your purchase, provide the seller with our FFL information. This is necessary for them to ship the firearm legally to DF6 Guns. You can contact us directly at info@df6guns.com to request our FFL details.

3. Firearm Delivery to DF6 Guns:

   The firearm will be shipped to our facility. Once it arrives, we’ll contact you to confirm the transfer is ready for you to pick up.

4. Background Check and Paperwork:

   As a federally licensed dealer, we are required to perform a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). We will also complete the necessary ATF forms to ensure that everything is properly documented.

5. Pickup and Transfer:

   After passing the background check, you can come to our facility to pick up your firearm. You will need to bring a valid government-issued ID and complete the necessary paperwork. If you are purchasing a firearm for the first time, we will also provide you with the information you need on firearm safety.

6. Transfer Fee:

   A transfer fee is required for each firearm being transferred. This fee covers the administrative costs and paperwork associated with the transfer. Contact us for specific details on our transfer fees.
